Once again, Canadian universities perform well in Times Higher Education’s top ranking of the world’s best universities. In the latest World University Rankings 2022, the University of Toronto is still Harvard North in 18th place, as it was last year.
The second most successful Canadian university is the University of British Columbia at Vancouver in 37th place, followed by McGill University in Montreal in 44th place (it has lost 4 points since 2021).
Then, it is the Canadian University of McMaster in Ontario which stands out in this world ranking of universities in 80th position. And the University of Montreal is in 88th place, sliding 3 points from last year.
The Times Higher Education studied 1,115 universities from 94 different countries around the world to come up with this analysis.
