The Adonis pizza and parmesan cheese products are being recalled by the operator due to the presence of allergens and undeclared unpasteurized milk.
The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food advises that Adonis pizzas could contain walnuts or peanuts, mustard, milk, eggs, sesame, soy or sulphites without it is mentioned on the labels.
In addition, Grana Padano and Reggiano Parmesan cheeses have been made from pasteurized milk, although the label does not mention this in the ingredient list.
The products affected by this notice were on sale refrigerated until Wednesday inclusive throughout the Adonis market network in Quebec.
The company is recalling the products in question and invites those in possession of these products to eventually return them to the store.
There have been no reported illnesses associated with the consumption of these foods, the ministry reassured in its warning.
