An envelope containing poison and intended for Donald Trump would come from Canada

The poisoned letter intended for Donald Trump which was intercepted last week before going to the White House is said to have passed through Montreal.

In an image of the letter published by the US network CNN, part of the zip code can be seen in the right corner.

We can distinguish “H4T”, which designates, among other things, the Saint-Laurent sector, in the west of the island of Montreal, where a Canada Post sorting center is located.

The FBI and the Secret Service are still investigating the incident.

Other similar packages would also have been sent to addresses in Texas, and they are possibly related to the same person.

A woman has reportedly been identified as a suspect in connection with the shipments.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said Saturday evening that the envelope addressed to the US president had been sent from Canada.

“The RCMP confirms having received a request for assistance from the FBI in connection with a suspicious letter sent to the White House (…) According to the first information of the investigation, the letter would come from Canada”, one could read in the declaration sent on Saturday evening.
