Justin Trudeau’s government may soon suspend vaccination requirements for people entering Canada. Indeed, from September 30, unvaccinated people entering Canada may no longer have to undergo a 14-day quarantine upon arrival.
Also according to the Canadian daily The Globe and Mail, Ottawa also intends to end random testing for COVID-19 at Canada’s international airports and border crossings.
For its part, the ArriveCAN application would become optional for travelers arriving in the country by plane, by land or by boat.
These options are under consideration but no final decision has yet been made.
