Finally, after months of waiting, the Canadian government gives the green light as of June 21 to holders of a permanent residence (PR) in Canada to come to the country, according to information obtained by Radio-Canada.
This is great news since since the start of the pandemic in March 2020, not all new holders were able to travel to Canada despite their new status.
Immigrants from Quebec and the rest of Canada who have obtained permanent residence will therefore be able to come and settle in the country. A great relief after months of waiting and uncertainty.
However, holders whose papers have expired will have to wait for further instructions to renew or obtain a valid document in order to enter Canada.
The flow of new arrivals to the country can therefore now start again.
