After Deezer and Anghami, the Saudi label Rotana has signed a partnership agreement with Spotify to promote Arabic songs.
With this agreement, the exclusive music catalog of the Rotana group will now be available on the Spotify platform in the Middle East, North Africa and several other consumer markets of this type of music. About 10,000 Arabic songs will be added to the catalog of the Swedish giant, which, by signing this contract, shows its willingness to establish itself in the MENA region and compete with platforms in the region.
From now on, on the Spotify interface, there is a section called “This Is Rotana” which will feature more than 100 new Arab artists including Elissa, Abdul Majeed Abdullah, Rashed Al-Majed, Assala Nasri, Majed Almohandis, Rabeh Saqer, Mohammed Abdu, Najwa Karam, Tamer Hosny and many others.
