The listing used Google search data to determine the most sought-after jobs in Arab countries, as well as the number-one dream job in each country worldwide. The study reveals that poet is the most sought-after profession in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Yemen, Qatar and Bahrain. In Algeria, Libya, Djibouti and Iraq, it’s the writer’s profession that attracts the most interest. Moroccans, Mauritanians and Sudanese aspire to become businessmen. Influencer is the most sought-after profession in Jordan and Kuwait, soccer coach in Egypt, scientist in Somalia, Youtubeur in Tunisia and comedian in Lebanon.
A top 10 list of the world’s most sought-after professions was also drawn up. Pilots top the list. It is followed by writer, dancer, Youtuber and entrepreneur. Next come actors, influencers and programmers. Singer and teacher closed the podium.
